Emmaus Missionary Baptist Church
Pastor W.D. McClung, II

Visionary and leader of Emmaus Missionary Baptist Church, Pastor Willie D. McClung, II heard a voice from Heaven saying, “What have you rendered, my son?” and in 1978, he accepted his call into the ministry and preached his first sermon. More than 25 years later, Pastor McClung, II accepted the charge of the Holt Street Missionary Baptist Church in Montgomery, AL, and established a church in Baltimore, MD. That church became Emmaus Missionary Baptist Church.

Pastor McClung, II began his ministerial work under the guidance and direction of his earthly father, Dr. W.D. McClung and the support of the New Grace Missionary Baptist Church. Paul’s words to Timothy to “Study to shew thyself approved…” have been the cornerstone to Pastor McClung, II’s work in God’s vineyard as he progressed in his ministerial assignments.
